Likes:
Adventure Movies -
These were her main inspiration for majoring in archaeology. While her dreams of hopping into tombs and cracking whips in order to swing over chasms are just those, dreams, she has always had an interest in the old and ancient. Making discoveries such as King Tut's tomb, and uncovering the mysteries of ancient life. At least she does not have to deal with millions of ex-boyfriends and narrowly escaping danger around every corner, at least not yet.

Shorts -
This is Layla's favorite piece of clothing. They are so comfortable and they show off her legs! This is what you will see her wearing a good ninety- percent of the time that you see her. VIVA LES SHORTS! Anyway, it just wears down to the fact that Layla enjoys wearing comfortable clothing instead of always having to get dressed up. She will if she has to but it is usually only on special occasions.

Books -
Books are a wealth of knowledge. Whether they are on mythology, ancient civilizations, or even just mundane grammar or spelling, Layla's taste in books tends to lean towards the former but they're one of the first places she looks for information. Not only are they a wealth of information but a little bit of an escape from the mundanity of school and life in general.

Museums -
Well, an archaeologist's main source of money for their dig usually comes from museums but Layla's love of them runs much deeper. This is where she can learn of things past, and often will hang out in certain rooms when she needs inspiration for a term paper or even just when she is at work. It reminds her exactly why she chose to go into archaeology in the first place.

Dislikes:
Robbers and Tomb Raiders -
Layla is someone who believes that all artifacts (although later she will change this to all except for the statues of the Ennead) belong in a museum. She disagrees with people who are in it just for the money and do not care about the moral implications of their actions. If a certain artifact escapes her grasp because of a robber or a tomb raider then she will do as much research as she can to locate the artifact.

Hobbies:
Exploring -
Layla loves going to see new places…or even old ones that have just been discovered. If it is new to her, then it is a brand new adventure. Layla longs to travel because she has never even been outside of Egypt. This is another inspiration to become an archaeologist because there are digs happening, not just in Egypt, but all around the world as well. She was always one to get in trouble for climbing buildings to get a better view of things down below.

Writing in her Journal -
While many people write, Layla's journal is key to her. It contains all of her thoughts and much of her research that she deems worthy of putting in there. Most of the current stuff will be of the Ennead statues once recruited but there is a bit of other pieces here and there about archaeology and discoveries in general. This is also the place for her to vent without burdening her friends too much and talking off their ears.

Reading Adventure Comics -
Many people do read books, and Layla is no different. The way she continued her love of adventure was to read comics similar to the antics of "The Phantom" and other great adventure comics. She'll cut them out of the newspaper, buy the books, whatever is the best way to get a hold of and to read these jewels of the artistic world.

Description:
Layla stands at about 5'5" tall, her skin a deep olive tone.
Her eyes are almond shaped, and icy blue in color.
Her nose is smallish compared to the rest of her features, Her shoulders are broad and make a good support for when she is carrying large objects.
Her build is toned, not weak but definitely the strongest.
Her hair is black with slight bronze highlights interwoven through. Worn most commonly in a braid tightly pulled back, which reaches just below the shoulder blades. Her bangs frame her face and fall down to her cheekbones with a slight wave to them.
She can be seen wearing mostly khaki shorts, which come to just above the knee. With deep pockets that she tries to keep full, She lives out of them.
Her top of choice is a form-fitting white tank top. She wears a button down shirt over it but leaves it untucked and open. There is a pocket on the right side of the button down where pens are kept. The sleeves of the shirt rolled up to near her shoulders.

Personality:
To many, it looks as if Layla has so much, but if you were to speak with her, she would not think much of it. She is an outgoing person, to the point of sometimes scaring people off. Those that get to know her, though, find her fiercely loyal. She likes being comfortable, whether it's by surrounding herself with her closest friends, curling up in a big armchair and reading a book, or popping some popcorn and watching a good movie. Comfort is her utmost desire.      Comfort for Layla is not necessarily material or even quantity in general. She treasures her friends and often times will opt to have fewer friends as long as those few are the ones that she can trust. She can be quite stubborn with her beliefs. This leads many that argue with her to think that she always has to have the last word, which is not always true. She won't argue anything unless she either knows that she's right and has some evidence to support her issue, or she's passionate about the way things are run or how they should change.
At the same time, she can be quite spontaneous and this gets her into trouble. There are times when she scares people off because of things she just says off the cuff. Whether it is jokes or even just comments about the conversation at hand, she is on the ball. If she were an entertainer, she would be an improvisational actor. She's not perfect and there actually are times when she can't think of anything to say, but more often than not, she's right there.
Layla has trouble staying tied to one spot for very long. She is as wild as the winds she controls and it shows. It would not be wise to give her much caffeine but many times she will get her hands on it anyway. Layla loves fantastical stories as well. The myths of Egypt or even Celtic, African, or Greek are all right up her alley of interests. Reading about the ancient gods or goddesses is one of her favorite things to do when she is alone.
Besides getting her inspiration from the old adventure movies of yore, Layla also has chosen one particular archaeologist to look up to. Howard Carter, the man who discovered King Tut's tomb, was one of the first archaeologists that Layla learned about in school. This was when she realized that she could do what adventurers do. She will take any moment to spout off a fact about Howard Carter or King Tut.
Layla often times will attempt to put on a very social attitude to hide what she's really thinking, but when she's really troubled, her friends can always see that change in her attitude because it's obvious. When she is ecstatic, she gets a little bit shaky but that does only when it is an extreme excitement or happiness.

Part III: Soldier Information

Special Skills:

Faction: Ennead of Storms

Powers:
She is as invisible as the Winds She Controls -
They have said in the past that Amun is invisible like the wind that he controls. When using this power, Amun brings her hand straight up over her head with palm point skyward. The wind starts blowing across her and as she brings her hand down, her body becomes invisible. Once her hand reaches her hip, there is a small glint of energy.
The weaknesses of this attack are if the enemy was to see her footprints or splash her with anything that might stick to her body; this would betray her position to the enemy. When her position is not betrayed this power's duration only lasts five minutes and she can not use another power while invisible. She must rely on hand-to-hand combat. As far as energy drain, if she were at full strength when using this power, she would just be breathing slightly heavy. The more she moves about though, the more she needs to concentrate.

Strange Winds are blowin' -
This is a typical knock 'em back power. Amun begins spinning with her arms out in a 'T' shape, palms outward. Wind begins gathering around her. The wind begins gathering at her chest as she brings her hands together, meeting at the wrists and fingers splayed outward. The wind then blasts towards the enemy, spiraling as it moves, attempting to knock them back about ten feet.
The energy only takes up about a 3' diameter tunnel so they can be dodged if the creature is quick enough. If Amun is full-strength when she uses this power, her energy is drained until she is down to one knee. She should be able to stand but her speed will be greatly affected by the energy drain. The only time this really does damage though is if the creature were blown into a solid object such as a wall.

Fuku:
The base of the fuku is a pale yellow, sleeveless, strapless dress. The skirt of the dress comes to just below the hips. Around her neck is a dull yellow-green cloth, held together by a bright blue (think lapis lazuli) brooch. Around her hips is a bright blue cloth, which is held with a jade stone on a gold chain, hanging from the right side of the cloth is a charm shaped like the reed crown that her statue wears. The jewel is located on her left hip. Her tiara is comprised of two golden chains with a lapis lazuli stone set in gold in the center of her forehead. Her sandals are a pale green in color, with bands that wrap around her ankles. Her primary color is a bright lapis lazuli blue and secondary is a dull yellow-green.

Henshin:
Amun, Urthekau Make-Up!
Layla thrusts her hand skyward and brings it down and across in a wave-like motion as she says, "Amun." She crosses her arms and then steps up onto one foot, bending the leg at the knee, "Urthekau." Now, she leans backward as she yells, "Make-Up!" At this, a blast of wind flows through Layla's hair as her body is silhouetted in blue and surrounded by a pale yellow glow. She spins around as sand begins surrounding her in a small whirlwind. The sand burst outward and then back together to form the body of her fuku. Next, she extends her right hand, palm outwards, and spins slowly. As she spins, a glowing piece of fabric forms and settles around her neck as the brooch appears. Reeds float through the air and form a tall crown on her head. Then, a green piece of fabric snakes itself around Amun's hips, tying on her left hip. She then strikes a pose with her left hand straight upward and her right behind her head. Her right leg is bent slightly at the knee and turned inwards.

Henshin statue:
Amun's statue is a depiction of a man on a throne. He wears is a crown of reeds on his head, which signifies that he is a spirit of the sky. His right hand is outstretched with a small crook. He also wears a belt around his waist, which holds a piece of cloth, which covers his hips and the upper part of his legs. Next to, the throne stands a goose, which is the holy animal of Amun.
