What is this all about?

Seize the Day is a Newsies RPG using both AIM and LiveJournal! The setting is modern day, but you and your character get to choose a partner/mentor from the movie. It's all about the hardships and friendships of being a newsie. Avoiding the scabbers and even the police. It takes place in New York City. There are just a few rules that you should know before joining:

1. This RPG is PG - Sometimes, depending on the situation, I may let you slip into PG-13 but let's try to keep it mostly PG. I want people of all ages to be able to read the RP if possible and not get offended.

2. Only One Person Per Newsie - In other words, if a Newsie is already claimed on the character page, we'll politely ask that you choose another. If you as well as another person sent in applications and they are both of equal quality, then it will go by who sent theirs in first.

3. AIM and LiveJournal Accounts are a Must-Have - This is where most RP is going to happen. We RP on AIM and then post it in the Journal. If you would like we could always replace your character name for your screen name when editing to keep your privacy. Or you can create an acocunt specifically for this RPG.
