Music - Having been a singer himself, this is where he gets his current inspiration. He will listen to just about anything but he particularly likes lyrics that move him.

Passion - While passion can come in many forms it is this that draws him to a customer. The fire within, that never fades out. He yearns for this to return to him.

Cacophany - Any sounds that clash tend to hurt Auryn. Nails to a chalkboard are not pleasant things to hear.

          He tends to be quiet and timid around people. He is able to get right down to business with a customer and do what he needs to do however his reasons for joining Ganeum are reasons that he protects bitterly. Few know about his past and he chooses to keep it that way. If anyone asks, he will shoot him or her an icy glare until they politely give up. He wears a necklace with a small leather pouch. It contains a ring, which he had given as an engagement present to his beloved, but since her passing, he keeps close to his heart. Appearance: He has hair that looks like a mix of light brown with blond highlights. He has strong facial features. Slim football shaped eyes seem to stare into your soul, reading your mind, yet they also have a soft quality to them. His eyes an icy stabbing blue. His complexion is light, his lips a pale shade of dusty rose. His cheekbones are slightly chiseled, giving him a somewhat regal look. He stands at around 5'10" tall, and his build is quite athletic.

          Auryn D'Argent was a talented young singer in the theater. He enjoyed being on stage, no matter whether he had a major or minor role. His spirit was in his voice. One day, he fell in love with one of his fellow singers, Alia Andrian. He was always nervous around her but one night he decided to get up the courage and to ask her to be his. They had, after all, been working together for quite a few years now. In order to woo her, he snuck to her house and serenaded her. They sang an impromptu duet and he found out how she truly felt about him and how she returned his love. There was one catch, Alia was actually promised to one of the patrons of the theater where she and Auryn performed. Auryn knew that he could not challenge the patron's claim on Alia so they decided to run away. Run they did, married in secret, but it was hard for either of them to find work and eventually Alia fell ill. This was a hard and trying time for Auryn and when Alia died he fell into despair. He began drinking heavily, looking for any solace. It was one fateful night that a man on the streets told him of Ganeum and the pleasures that could be found there. He ventured there, curious about whether anything could comfort him or not. Nothing else had worked. He got caught up as a customer. He particularly favored the houses of Gluttony and Lust, yet none could remedy the hole in his heart that he felt for Alia, but at least the pleasure allowed him to endure one day more. He decided that rather than to keep taking from Ganeum that perhaps it would be good to give back to the community and also a way to search for the lost piece of himself. No one at Ganeum knows of his true past except for key people (ie if the Mod-characters/Head of Houses need to know). He keeps his past to himself and only talks of current events.
